Course Descriptions
1st YEAR GENERAL BIBLICAL STUDIES (BIBL)
BIBL1001-1 THE RIGHT PERCEPTION
In this course we will begin with this all important assessment of how we are to view ourselves in Christ, if we are to advance into a mature believer that is effectual in all that we are called to be and do for Him in this life.
BIBL1001-2 OUR IDENTITY IN HIM
In this course we want to help you further your understanding in the relationship and identity you have in Jesus Christ. True humility is to accept God's view and opinion above your own. Accepting God's view and opinion is the pathway to wisdom. Pride is when we insist that our view and opinion is reality instead of God's.
BIBL1001-3 WITHDRAWING FROM YOUR HEAVENLY ACCOUNT
We want you to understand that faith = (trust) and hope = (believing) and how they both relate to each other. The Word of God teaches us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen. Our faith or (trust) is the tangible substance of the things we are hoping or (believing) for. This is the confident assurance that we have that God will do what He says He will do. Before you can withdraw any finances from a banking institution, you will have to build up your account so there is something to draw from. The same is true about our heavenly account. Depending on how much you invest in it will then dictate how much you will be able to withdraw.
BIBL1001-4 SUSTAINING THE RIGHT POSITION
To help you understand how you are to maintain your heavenly identity. We are commanded from the Word of God to go abroad and preach the Gospel of good News to all nations. Nehemiah built a wall for the people, and God commands us to build a wall as well; however, our wall will be a wall of believers. Therefore, we must understand that the church is not a building per say, but rather it is the living body of Christ. You and I are to go forth and build this body of believers as a wall that will not ever come down.
BIBL1001-5 THE GUARNTEE OF SALVATION
Trying to walk with God without the assurance of salvation is like trying to roller-skate before you know how to walk. Assurance of salvation is the anchor for our emotions. Knowing there is peace between us and God is the foundation upon which we stand.
BIBL1002-1 HE HAS DELEGATED HIS AUTHORITY TO US
We want you to completely comprehend your delegated authority and how you are to walk in the power of that name, Jesus Christ. If you will recall from the Scriptures it tell us that Jesus sent the seventy out to the surrounding cities to evangelize them with the Good News of Jesus Christ. He did not send them out ill-equipped or without the means to accomplish what they were sent to do. They were given power and authority over all the powers of Satan and his demons.
BIBL1002-2 THAT POWERFUL NAME
We want you to comprehend and fully understand what is behind the power of the name, Jesus Christ; and how you and I can operate in that same power through His name. When we study the Word of God we will discover a passage of Scripture found in (1 Timothy 6:12), that instructs us to fight the good fight of faith just as Paul did. For you and me to wage that fight successfully Jesus gave us His name, which is His power of attorney.
BIBL1002-3 LIVING BY THE DICTATES OF HIS WORD
We want to establish the importance of learning to live daily through the direction and life giving principles of God's Word. There are a great many believer's who live beneath their divine rights and privileges simply because they do not have a revelation of what they are entitled to. If we look over in Galatians 4:7 we discover that we are no longer servants, but sons of God; and if sons then we are heirs. You and I are definitely not the Son of God, but we are His sons nonetheless. We are in need of revisiting the position that we have in Christ.
BIBL1002-4 PURSUING AND RECOVERING WHAT BELONGS TO US
To understand the authority that we have in Jesus Christ and what He has accomplished for us. When this is understood, then we can advance and pursue what has been taken from us and recover it all. When the Word of God tells us that if God is for us who can be against us; this prompts an answer to that very question, and that is we have someone who is obviously against us. It is not a very mighty enemy because he has been defeated. However, he steals much territory when we allow him access to it.
BIBL 1002-5 THE UNSTOPPABLR POWER OF AGREEMENT
We want you to understand the importance of walking in agreement with God's Word and His Holy Spirit. We ought to be knowledgeable of the Word of God as His children, and fully recognize that in order to walk together with Him there must be agreement between us. If there is disagreement between two parties then they cannot move towards common or unison goals. We also find in God's Word that the steps of a righteous man they are ordered of the Lord. Therefore, if we are in agreement with the Word of God we will be in agreement with Jesus Christ.
BIBL1002-6 ADVANCING AS A MATURE BELIEVER
We desire for you to understand the undisputable value of maturing in the things of God. Once that becomes your highest goal then you will discover a life that advances you through each day with joy, peace, and authority over all your circumstances.
There are is a great deal of people today who are literally spending thousands of dollars to improve their lives. Unfortunately, most have no clue that Jesus has already paid the full price for them to obtain a new and eternally improved life.
BIBL1002-7 BUILDING ON THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORD
We must learn how to build through the proper kind of knowledge; and with that knowledge we must pursue spiritual understanding that is only found in the Word of God if we desire to build a life that stands against the tests of life. There is no other groundwork in existence as vital as building on the right kind of foundation. Jesus pointed out the similarity between a person who hears and does the Word, as being a wise man who built his house upon a rock. Therefore, a solid foundation from the Word of God determines how we will stand in these unpredictable times in which we live in.
BIBL1003-1 RENEWING THE MIND PART ONE
We desire that every believer fully understands that the one crucial transformation [unlike your salvation which is a work of Jesus Christ and what He done for us], requires your attentive participation through this metamorphosis process of your mind. This process can only be accomplished through the washing of the mind by the Word of God and its truths. Our past has soiled our minds with all its pollutions and darkness which require a supernatural washing which can only be done through God's Word.
BIBL1003-2 RENEWING THE MIND PART TWO
To help you understand the importance of renewing your mind. This session shall focus on the source of where it is that we go to find the correct truths. Without the right information and truths to draw from, we will remain in the same stagnant pool from which we have been drawing from all our lives. Unfortunately, this direction and motion keeps giving us the same results in our lives. Therefore, we must renew and transform our minds with the Word of God.
BIBL1003-3 RENEWING THE MIND PART THREE
We want you to understand the importance of renewing your mind to the Word of God. This 3rd part of 5 lessons on renewing the mind will spotlight on the fear that we often associate with coming to God. We will learn that there is a misdiagnosis by most believers of how God really feels about us.
BIBL1003-4 RENEWING THE MIND PART FOUR
We are continuing to press the importance of renewing your mind daily in the Word of God. There can be no substitute or neglect by ignoring this vital and necessary spiritual discipline, or we will live beneath our privileges as a child of God. If we are to live in these great promises from God's Word then there will have to be a transformation of our thought life. We must move beyond being just mere men and women of this world, and take on the image of those whose identity is in Christ our Lord.
BIBL1003-5 RENEWING THE MIND PART FIVE
The need to understand the importance of renewing the mind in the Word of God in order to change the negative direction of living in the past, and turnaround to the path of the abundant life of Jesus Christ. We are free to believe whatever we choose, and the things we do each day attest to what we really believe. Our fifth part on renewing the mind will focus on forgetting the past and reaching for the things hoped for.
BIBL1003-6 ESTABLISHING RIGHT THOUGHTS
We want you to get a revelation from God's Word on how our thoughts will either make or break us. Therefore, the importance of bringing all thoughts captive through the examination of God's discerning eye from His Word, we can cross examine these and make the necessary corrections if the thoughts are unbiblical. Establishing right thoughts will empower us over our adversary as we recognize the limitless ability of God in us when we develop Jesus' thoughts.
BIBL1003-7 LIMITING BELIEFS
We want you to identify how wrong beliefs limit your capacity to grow in the grace of God. We always find it easier to take the road of least resistance over pressing through to our desired goals in life if it just wasn't so difficult. Beliefs have a way of confining us to limited passages through life, or they can launch us into the liberalities of God's unfathomable riches.
BIBL1003-8 PRESERVED BLAMELESS
We want you to get a revelation of how each one of us are held blameless as far as God is concerned. That God is not mad at us and that He beholds each of us blameless within His own eyes. When we look into the Word of God we will find that Jesus Christ came to give us life and to give it more abundantly. Whereas, the devil came to steal, kill and destroy us. Our adversary the devil will do everything within his arsenal of tactics or strategies to steal our joy and destroy our happiness. The devil loves to take our past and use it as a basis to blackmail us.
BIBL1003-9 THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE MIND
We want you to understand how to renew your mind through the Word of God. Therefore, we will look at the proper way to develop the mind through the divine influences that should be dominating our belief system. We must make our decisions based on the responsibility and information that we learn from the Word of God. It is for this reason, that God wants us to be totally and completely dominated by His influence alone; therefore we must learn what God has to say about everything to do with our life.
BIBL1003-10 YOUR PERSONAL CALLING
We want to help you learn how to live within your full potential in Jesus Christ. This particular session is listed under our transforming the mind series because we must learn to align our thoughts with God's purpose for our lives in order to reach our true calling in God. We must understand that it is God's desire for us to submit our "will" completely over to Him. The particular areas that God desires to influence are our spirit, soul [mind], and body. The problem that most of us have in fulfilling our divine calling is that we warrant too much emphasis on our natural dilemmas.
BIBL1004-1 A FAITH THAT PREVAILS
We want you to understand what the basic origin of faith can produce in you, and how to allow your faith to work within your life every day. We must gain a firm understanding of this all important revelation which is our first principle on the lessons of faith. That principle of course is that we believe that Jesus and the Word of God are the same.
BIBL1004-2 FAITH AND ITS IMPARTATIONS
In this lesson we will explore and learn how faith is imparted to us. An impartation is when something is transferred or shared with you that you did not have before it was given. In order that there may be an impartation there must be an agreement between the recipient and the giver. If we desire to receive something from God then we must be in total agreement with Him. The quickest way for advancing towards that place of agreement with God is always found within His Word. It is very important to keep company with the right kind of influences.
BIBL1004-3 THE GOD KIND OF FAITH
We want you to fully understand that we can possess the God kind of faith once we develop an unmovable and absolute confidence in God. The Bible is very clear that we are to develop the same kind of faith that God has. Therefore, every believer should be doing and working the same things as God in Jesus Christ did while He walked on the Earth. Therefore, we ought to be asking ourselves why the modern church is not getting the same kind of results as the early church. The reason for the lack of results is simply due to the fact so many people do not think of themselves the way they are described to be according to God's Word.
BIBL1004-4 FAITH TO FAITH
In this study we want you to understand that your faith grows through each time that you exercise it in the Word of God. It is very important that we use our faith, which all of us have received a measure from Christ; and use it to enforce the promises of God within our lives. The broadcasting of our faith must be rooted and grounded in the right truths if we expect to experience the right kind of results within our lives.
BIBL1004-5 WHAT LITTLE FAITH CAN DO
We want you to fully understand that even a little faith can do as great of works as great faith can if its exercised and released. Our faith is not some mental conception that we work up with our intellect; it is something that God gives to each of us freely. Faith is a "will" to believe something which God places within a person's heart when they are born; therefore when they study and meditate in the Word it can then be properly appropriated on the right thing. This is the absolute assurance that we possess the things hoped for and the steadfast confidence that we exhibit until the final outcome rewards our stance in the Word of God.
BIBL1004-6 A FAITH THAT WORKS
We want you to understand that in order to see our desired results; we need to appropriate our measure of faith by exercising it consistently on the right things. Faith is now! The Word of God teaches us that. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Therefore, the wording of this Scripture undeniably implies that there is a continuing flow of manifestations that is reflective only from a continuous and daily relationship with God. If there is any hesitance or a lack of confidence in what God's Word declares then there is no faith present.
BIBL1005-1 UNDERSTANDING THE ANOINTING
It is extremely important that you learn and understand that God does everything through the anointing. The Bible teaches us that it is not by might, nor is it by power, but by His Spirit; or you could say it this way: "Not by might, nor by power, but by the anointing of the Holy Spirit of God." The anointing is the authorization of empowerment or the endowment that enables us to carry out the will of God. It is the pathway of God's communication, or the conduit from which His blessings flow.
BIBL1005-2 THE ANOINTING IN RELATION TO PREACHING, TEACHING, AND HEALING
In this lesson we want you to understand how the anointing and its applications work hand in hand with the Word of God especially in regards to preaching, teaching and healing. We need to know that we are held accountable for the things that we know. Therefore, this is the reason I want to keep drilling this point home again and again. We must always remember that our identity remains in Jesus Christ; otherwise we will not be able to walk in the spirit with confidence, much less recognize the moving of God's anointing within any given situation that we may be facing. If we look within the Gospel accounts where Jesus preached, taught and healed those who were sick, we would find that He rarely failed to be successful in most cases.
BIBL1005-3 HOW THE ANOINTING RELATES TO YOUR FAITH
This is a study that will help you understand how the anointing of the Holy Spirit and your faith relate together through their coexistence to bring about the true manifestations of the kingdom of God in the earth. The Bible tells us in Ephesians, that we are to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. In this lesson we will learn that God will never do anything outside the presence of the anointing. Why? Because it says undeniably in Scripture that it is never by might, nor power, but by His Spirit. If God is to move in your life it will always be through His Spirit.
BIBL1005-4 HOW TO LIVE AND WORK IN THE ANOINTING
We are looking at how you and I can walk successfully each day in the anointing as we add the indispensable principles from God's Word to our lives. It is safe to say from reading the Scriptures that God truly desires His great power along with His Spirit to influence every part of our day. But in order for this to happen we must establish some foundational truths to our understanding. In the Gospel of John it tells us that God is a spirit and those who worship Him must do it in spirit and in truth.
BIBL1005-5 CORPORATE ANOINTING
We want you from this teaching to understand how the corporate anointing works in unison with the Word of God being preached without compromise, and the believer who follows its lead with obedience, rather than their own agenda. We will learn the incredible benefits that will manifest because of this agreement with the Word and the Spirit; and the deficiencies if those who are gathered together fail to embrace what God is speaking and doing.
BIBL1005-6 HOW TO TAKE THE LIMITS OFF
We must learn and understand that the anointing of the Holy Spirit always works in conjunction or in agreement with the Word of God and the person who believes on it. The Word of God is always the source, whereas, the Anointing of God is the power to demonstrate it openly. However, if the Word of God is not fully believed and established within the person who is attempting to activate it, there will be no demonstration of its outward manifestation. Therefore, we need to learn how to take the limits off so that the anointing of the Holy Spirit can produce what the Word of God promotes without our hindrance to its outcome.
BIBL1006-1 GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
This lesson will give an overview in the reason for the Gifts of the Holy Spirit with some of its manifestations that are seen in the New Testament miracles done by Jesus' followers. These gifts should be earnestly desired and pursued by all. Probably one of the most misunderstood topics found within the New Testament is on the Spiritual Gifts. The Bible teaches us that God's people are perishing for a lack of knowledge. We can look in the Scriptures and discover that even Jesus studied the Word. Therefore, because He studied the Word, it is recorded as saying that He grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.
BIBL1006-2 POWER AND DEMONSTRATIONS: THE FLOW IN YOU
This lesson will focus on understanding how we are to flow with the Holy Spirit. If we are to ever move in the miraculous, then it will require that we learn the methods and operations of the Holy Spirit within us. Therefore, getting deeply acquainted with the Holy Ghost must be our first priority if we are to flow in the power with demonstrations. The Bible tells us that we are to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding. Why did He say this? It is because our heart is where He has chosen to illuminate the Word as a lamp within every person.
BIBL1006-3 POWER AND DEMONSTRATIONS: HOLY GHOST
We want you to understand how to flow with the Holy Spirit. We will achieve this by recognizing the importance of being obedient to the Word of God, and our willingness to be yielded to the Holy Spirit's control over us. It's important to note that Jesus in the form of the flesh could not do one miracle without the anointing. It is just the same for us; without the anointing we cannot experience God's miracles either.
BIBL1006-4 POWER IN EVERY SITUATION
We want you to fully understand the "[Dunamis: the special miraculous ability, that is abundant and the expressions of mighty]" power you will need for today. God has supplied everyone with the power to live in the life of the miraculous. We have been given an open and effectual door with the ability to reach out beyond the natural and touch souls with the power of the Gospel. This is more understood as the Good News of our salvation in Christ Jesus. As the days progress closer to the end times, the separation between those who move in the power and those who are powerless to move in it will become more evident to all. The world has always seen the show of godliness in all of its multiple forms, along with its powerlessness to produce anything of the divine nature.
BIBL1006-5 THE ILLUMINATION OF HIS GLORY
We want you to understand the power of the anointing in all its glory within the church.
The true anointing or God's manifest glory should most be apparent in the church. Unfortunately, there are many people in the church who are not walking in the power or liberty. The reason so many shy away from the anointing power is because they refuse to break free from religious ties. It will not be until these particular believers learn that the Spirit of the Lord brings liberty, that they will realize how to be completely free from their adversary the devil. The anointing of God's manifest presence comes to endorse, enforce, and to perform the Word of God. Without it.no great and mighty works can be done.
BIBL1006-6 RELEASING HIS POWER FROM YOUR FAITH
In this lesson we want you to understand that your ability to do miracles depends on your ability to unleash the power of faith that is resident within you. In God's Word it tells us that anytime faith is without works it is dead. Therefore, in order to do God's work you must have an active faith. If you are only expressing that all you want to do is do the will of God; you are not expressing the kind of faith that is needed to raise the dead, heal the sick or cast out devils. The point being is that it is not enough to only believe in God's Word. You must live it, walk it, speak it, confess it, and testify of it. It is imperative that people take notice that you faithfully represent God here on earth before they will even consider you working His miracles within their lives.
2nd YEAR GENERAL BIBLICAL STUDIES (BIBL)
BIBL2001-1 EXCEEDING FAITH THAT REACHES HIGHER
This study seeks to highlight how you're faith is meant to exceed the place from where it is operating at this very moment. There are many Christians that settle on advancing in just few small areas of their life only, and therefore, miss out on the far reaching ability of God in them to do the impossible things that God desires to do through their life. If we will remain consistent in the Word of God from where our faith grows as a daily diet for our spirit man, we can reach further, deeper, and higher than we are working from right now. God's Word tells us that we are going from glory to glory, and faith to faith, if we are yielded to His guidance through His Holy Spirit and the written Word.
BIBL2001-2 MOUNTAIN MOVING FAITH
This lesson will point out the importance that to have a mountain moving faith which carries an authority; it will require that you resist believing anything that contradicts the Word of God. The most important starting point of our faith.is to know the will of God. If our faith has no activity then that faith is dead. This is why it is imperative that we act on what the Word of God declares. It goes without saying that many folks face their own mountains, or circumstances, and allows them to stand between them and God's will and purpose for their life.
BIBL2001-3 STUDIES OF THE FAITH OF GOD
This lesson will look at the great faith that God demonstrated throughout the Bible which is recorded as a faith-builder for us today. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Therefore, we need to get well acquainted with our faith and how it is a divine endowment of who we actually are in the spirit. Without it, it is impossible to please God. When we can understand that we are made in the same likeness and image of God because of His holy Seed that birthed us into a new creation from within.then we can identify with confidence that we have the same divine nature as God, therefore, we are authorized to do the same works that Christ did and even greater works than these because of His impartation of Himself in each of us that are called by His name. This is not a self appraisal of wanting to be like a god within our own selves or human ability, but in fact, is a prophetic word that has been spoken over us by God Himself that declares that we are His children by birthright, and therefore, ordained to perform these miraculous acts in order to present the kingdom of heaven in power to this world.
BIBL2001-4 DWELLING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF FAITH
This lesson is a continuation on the subject of faith as to the groundwork that has been laid for us in order to live in the fullness of God's promises. Faith is the aspect to which we use to interact with God. If we look at the promises of God, we will see how they carry the impartation of faith that is necessary to bring it into manifestation. Essentially to live by faith is to take full advantage of the price by which Jesus paid for you to receive His promise into your life. God does not have a backup plan in order to secure our eternal salvation or the ability to live victoriously here on the earth. The Word of God is it, and it carries the spirit of faith necessary to bring God's promises to fruition.
BIBL2001-5 THE MANIFESTED WORKS OF FAITH
This course instructs us that we should be experiencing true manifestations in our life from what our faith has acted on and is now producing from God's Word. The Bible teaches that faith without works is dead; therefore, it is imperative that we step out and participate through action to what the Word of God declares for us to walk in faithfully. The works of faith in a Christian's life will always manifest or produce the very things they believe for; in addition, these manifestations will have their origin from a reliable source [the Word of God] that makes them available to every believer in Christ.
BIBL2001-6 THE MIS-UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT LITTLE FAITH CAN DO
We have briefly looked at this subject in our "Abounding Faith Series," in the first year of studies that showed what little faith can do. However, in this series we will look at some of the misunderstandings that hinder us from operating effectively from our faith, even when that faith may appear to be little. It is therefore, our desire in this teaching that you develop your faith in the Word of God, and do not allow yourself to minimize the baby steps that you may start off with as you follow the instruction of the Lord. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
BIBL2001-7 THE FUNCTIONS OF REAL FAITH
To understand how faith operates in order to release God's power through your life everyday. To learn and identify the functions of real faith which bring forth divine manifestations consistently to the nature of God and the things that He moves in. Every person on earth is a triune creation: body, soul, and spirit. It's unfortunate that most miss out on realizing the spiritual part of who they are. As we study the Word of God, we will find that after Adam fell, he could no longer have the same kind of relationship with God because of the darkness of his heart. Evidence from Scripture: teaches us that darkness and light can have no fellowship with one another, therefore, neither could Adam and God remain in the same realm together as one.
BIBL2002-1 THE SOURCE
Today there are many doors by which people are trying to enter into the supernatural realm. We all have heard of New Age, Yoga, Channeling, Demon Worship, Buddhism, Horoscope, Palm Reading, Tarot Cards, and many other outlets that people use to connect with the supernatural world. Unfortunately, none of these approaches can lead a person to the Lord Jesus Christ or His blessings. These are counterfeit doors that connect with familiar spirits, or more clearly defined, demons. This lesson will focus on the importance of connecting with the right "Source" which will afford you to operate in the supernatural effectively and disband the devils influences along with his arsenal of deception from your life.
BIBL2002-2 OUR DIVINE RIGHTS IN THE SUPERNATURAL
In this lesson we will be covering the divine rights of every believer in Jesus Christ who can operate within the supernatural realm through their faith. Without Word based knowledge of your rights in God you cannot develop the proper confidence that you have a right to those benefits in the supernatural. Therefore, this teaching shall concentrate on laying a strong foundation from God's Word on our legal rights to possess the ability to function in this realm. The Anointing of the Holy Spirit is the only Agent that enables us to enter into the area of the supernatural in order to possess what has been promised to us through God's Word. There is no other spiritual assistant other than the Holy Spirit that can translate us from a mere human to a spiritual son or daughter of God.
BIBL2002-3 WALKING IN THE SPIRIT
In this lesson we will look at how to differentiate from two paths: (1). the flesh or self-life, (2). and the Spirit or spirit-life, which often blends together in the minds of many making it seemingly impossible at times to know the difference. The reason for this is because of our multiple unfounded beliefs that are never corrected in light of God's Word. The Bible teaches that there is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof leads to death (Proverbs 16:25). We must come in complete agreement with the Word and the Holy Spirit; by consistent activity on our part that follows closely to the precepts that are revealed within God's Word, and illuminated through the interpretations of what that Word is saying by the Holy Spirit. Then we can know assuredly that we are walking in the Spirit. The Word of God is the way, the truth, and the life! Therefore, the Word [Jesus made flesh] is the only spiritual path that leads to the Father and eternal life.
BIBL2002-4 THE CREATIVE FORCE & POWER OF THE WORD
When God wants something to change He sends His Word. If everything in this world was in God's perfect will then why would He have ever sent His Word to change things? Therefore, in this lesson we will look at how the creative force and power of God's Word changes things when it is spoken, believed, and acted on. If God is sending His Word, then He is sending His perfect will, concerning the matter at hand. So, basically God is telling us if there is a circumstance that is contrary to His Word, then He has sent His Word to change it. This is the creative force and power that proceeds from the mouth of God which changes the state of any situation that is in contradiction to the purpose and will of God.
BIBL2002-5 HOLY SPIRIT MANIFESTATIONS
We want you to get well acquainted with the works of the Holy Spirit that your faith and confidence will rest in the supernatural power of God and what He can do through you. The Holy Spirit is an active presence of the Godhead that demonstrates with power from on high through a yielded believer. If we therefore, are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and care about His kingdom purposes here on the earth, than we need to allow the Holy Spirit to manifest His divine power in every situation of life. It was Jesus who went about healing the sick, raising the dead, and destroying every work of the devil in the land. If we are therefore, in Him, and Jesus is in us, then these same works and even greater works should be present in our life as a believer.
BIBL2002-6 THIS JOURNEY WE TAKE IN THE SUPERNATURAL
We want you to learn in this lesson how to cooperate with the Holy Spirit so that you can live and make your journey through this life in the supernatural. We are born as a miracle when we are born again in Christ Jesus; therefore, our spirit-man was conceived through the divine act of God. In addition, because we are like Him who has created us new in Christ, we are therefore, to be active in the supernatural as He did when He walked the earth. Hopefully, you have started to learn how to possess the superabundant life through your faith in the Word; now we will look at how God supplies His divine provision to help us make this journey into the supernatural.
BIBL2002-7 THE NATURE OF THE BATTLE & AND THE CHARACTER OF THE ENEMY
The Bible teaches that we are in a battle that has already been won. However, this triumph is one that must be maintained by enforcing the victory that Jesus won over His enemy and our adversary. We are not to put in force this victory through our ability to beat the devil through our wits or strength, but rather by accepting the victory to which Jesus defeated the enemy on our behalf. The nature of the battle requires that we oppose our adversary through the equipment that we have been issued according to the Word in Ephesians; otherwise we will fall short of maintaining our victory stance that we have received of Christ over this enemy. The sharpness and alertness of combat is necessary so that we are not taken advantage of through the devil's schemes and trickery.
BIBL2002-8 WHY THE CHRISTIAN MUST BE ARMED
We must understand the importance that we are called to arm ourselves according to the Word of God. The Word tells us that my people are perishing for lack of knowledge. A person who is ignorant that he has an adversary, will in fact, fall prey to him and become an eventual victim. Therefore, we need to know how to arm ourselves to prevent this, as well as what to arm ourselves with in order to dominate the devil at all levels of life. Our lesson begins at what happens whenever we are unarmed against the spirit world. The devil is the great tempter who offers suspecting sweet and luscious items that we are easily drawn to because of our own lust. Satan chooses when to tempt us based on our condition of vulnerability. The devil also chooses how to tempt us as he considers the availability of something that may certainly catch our eye.
BIBL2003-1 THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH
This lesson is to help you understand the will of God concerning the New Testament church. We will look at the purpose and its function in this world as to God's idea for its existence. The New Testament Church is God's will and design for the family of believer's in Christ Jesus. In order for us to have a New Testament relationship with God, our faith needs to arise out of the purpose of the shed blood of Jesus Christ. If we look at the Scriptures we will find that the foundation of the New Testament Church was built on a rock, the Word of God.
BIBL2003-2 THE MINISTRY OF THE PROPHET
We want you to understand the function and the office of the Prophet in the New Testament Church. It is important to understand that we interpret Scripture in light of Scripture. We will use the Old Testament type and shadow of the ministry of the prophet in order to get a better understanding of the ministry of the New Testament prophet.
BIBL2003-3 THE EVANGELIST
This lesson will focus on the office and the function of the evangelist within the church. Each person called to the fivefold office must go through the same training and have a strong foundation in the Word of God. Ministry gifts should all work together like fingers on a hand. The evangelist is a preacher consumed with winning souls for the kingdom of God. Their mission is to spread the fire of revival. While the evangelist's ministry appears spectacular at times in its demonstrations, it is for the purpose of causing people to see and lay hold of the "now" power and revelation of salvation available through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
BIBL2003-4 THE PASTOR/TEACHER
This lesson is to understand the function and office of the pastor/teacher. Jesus Christ gave gifts to the church to equip the saints of God to do the work of the ministry. The pastor/teacher is one of those gifts to the church that nurtures and protects the people that God puts under his care. Just like the other Ministry gifts, the pastor is divinely called by God.
BIBL2003-5 THE APOSTLE
That we might understand the office of the Apostle and how it functioned in the early church; and how that office is to exist even today. This lesson is on the Office of the Apostle. The meaning of the word apostles are the sent forth ones. It comes from the Greek: "I send" and "from" and is essentially the same word "apostolos" as we use in English. The original twelve disciples are the foundation apostles that stand as the pillars of the church. They were to "be with Jesus" and were called to cast out demons. There are pillars of the church called to be apostles today with the definite higher calling of the apostolic gift, but the word apostle also includes anyone who has been sent by God for a special calling like missionaries or special emissaries.
BIBL2003-6 BUILDING UP THE CHURCH
This lesson will focus on the proper way to build the Church. That of course, is on the Word of God. It's hoped that every Christian understands that the church is not a building. In fact, the church is a body of believers that have their faith built on the foundation of the Word. If we look into the Bible we will see that unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain. We cannot build by the traditions or customs of men as they will only develop into a formality of religion. We can only grow the Church and partake of the great harvest that is about to come through laying the foundation from God's Word.
BIBL2003-7 SPIRITUAL FATHER'S OF THE FAITH
This lesson is designed to point out the importance of being mentored and raised up by a spiritual father in the faith. We have all witnessed what happens in a society when the father is absent in that home. Utter chaos protrudes from that dwelling place. Therefore, this lesson looks at the role and need for divine mentors in our lives. We have discovered that tradition means to pass on, or hand over. Holy Tradition, or Sacred Tradition, refers to the Faith (including the beliefs and practices) which has been passed on within the Church from the time of Christ's Apostle's, right down to the present day.
BIBL2003-8 FLOURISHING WHERE YOU'RE PLANTED
In this lesson we learn of the importance of being planted in order that you may be able to bear much fruit. There is a massive exodus of the church to which it refuses to remain planted where God has placed them so that He might cause them to flourish. If we allow ourselves to get secure, comfortable, or settled in our positions within the ministry, then it's very possible that you will get into a rut that becomes stagnant. When we define what a rut is, we will discover that it is nothing more than a drawn out grave. It's highly important that we recognize the position we are in if this place we are planted has become a proverbial rut; we need to get ourselves out.
BIBL2003-9 EXPLORING SPIRITUAL GIFTS
This lesson will look into the basis of spiritual gifts to understand them more clearly as they pertain to their use in the church. Therefore, we discover that a gift has been described as a special qualification granted by the Holy Spirit to every believer to empower him to serve within the framework of the body of Christ. What is the difference between a natural talent and a spiritual gift?
BIBL2003-10 UNDERSTANDING SPIRITUAL GIFTS
Spiritual gifts are special abilities given by God to every Christian according to God's grace for the purpose of serving the body of Christ.
BIBL2003-11 IDENTIFYING SPIRITUAL GIFTS
This is a course on that gives us a Scriptural look into the gifts of the Holy Spirit given to man. Each gift with a Scriptural foundation will be studied indepth in this lesson as to identify them for the sole purpose of learning what gifting(s) we may have received.
BIBL2003-12 GIFTS OPERATING IN THE CHURCH
This course is to help authenticate revelation to the church on how the gifts are to operate within the local body of believers: Acts 2:22 reveals that God proved Himself in the person of His Son with miracles, wonders, and signs. The same is true with us who belong to Him and have been endowed with certain power gifts, revelation gifts, and or utterance gifts. Mark 16:20 associates confirmation with revelation through signs: "And they went and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the Word by the signs that followed." In Acts 7:36-39, Stephen cited Moses' "wonders and signs" in connection with Moses' receiving the "living oracles" for Israel, which that generation and Stephen's generation were unwilling to obey.
BIBL2003-13 DISCOVERING AND DEVELOPING SPIRITUAL GIFTS
The church has become somewhat paralyzed from its mission to evangelize the world with the gospel. The most prominent reason is the lack of understanding the gifts that Christ has placed within the church. Therefore, this lesson is designed to help you to discover and develop your spiritual gift or gifts. We will begin by discovering our spiritual gift(s). You should spend a great deal of time studying the Scriptures that deal with "spiritual gifts." These are obviously found in these whole chapters found in (1 Corinthians 12 - 14; Romans 12; Ephesians 4; and 1 Peter 4). Throughout these chapters you will learn what characterizes each spiritual gift and how they function in the body of Christ.
BIBL2003-14 IMPLEMENTING YOU'RE SPIRITUAL GIFTS IN THE LOCAL CHURCH
This lesson is intended to help you find your place in the body of Christ and begin serving. A gift is of no value if it is never used, therefore, we hope to encourage you to implement your gifting for the benefit of the church body. Our first step will be to introduce a three level of service to the local church. Structured level #1: This is a sphere of service to where your spiritual gift(s) can be used to minister to the body through a present structured ongoing ministry of the church.
BIBL2003-15 THE MISUSE OF SPIRITUAL GIFTS
This final lesson from our spiritual gifts series is to help you understand that there are abuses or misuses of spiritual gifts. Therefore, we want you to enhance your ability to know the difference so as not to become one who operates in such a negative way or become a victim to someone else's misuse of spiritual gifts. This course will begin with the general abuses of spiritual gifts while following each of them up with a correction to its abuse. We will begin with the projection of the gift: This is where you project your own spiritual gift onto others by expecting them to serve with the same intensity, effectiveness, and fruitfulness as you do.
BIBL2004-1 THE ATONEMENT IS WITHIN THE BLOOD
This lesson will look at the Atonement that has been administered through the shed blood and the body of Jesus Christ to every believer who would apply Him to their life. Christ made atonement through His blood and body that would remove all sin and sickness from our lives. Therefore, we will study this all important lesson in order that we may enforce this covenantal promise that our Lord has provided to all believers.
BIBL2004-2 THE POWER OF THE CROSS
There is a lost perspective of the wonderful power that was released when Christ was crucified upon the cross for our sakes. This particular course will look at how the cross was much "more" than just securing salvation to those of us who would believe on Jesus Christ as Lord. The Scriptures declare, Romans 5:12, that "By one man sin entered the world, and death by sin." Here it is plainly stated that death entered the world by sin. Therefore, it is clear that disease, which promotes death in us, entered into the world by sin. Since disease entered by sin, its only true remedy must be found in the redemption of Christ.
BIBL2004-3 JESUS CHRIST OUR HEALER
We want to establish that you fully understand that just as it is God's will to save a person; it is always His will to heal. We have all read in the Bible that shows God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. The Scriptures also teach us that Jesus Christ bore our sicknesses and carried our pains. Again it says, "By His stripes you were healed." You must understand that God has not predestined some folks to be saved while others will be lost. Our Lord Jesus Christ has paid for salvation when He went to the cross. Salvation is therefore, available to everyone who chooses to believe. Jesus also paid for divine health and healing at the cross as well.
BIBL2004-4 THE STRIPES THAT HEALED
Our lesson today will continue in the study on healing. This particular dissertation will build on the assurance of the promise which purchased our healing based on the stripes that Christ bore on His back for the full payment of health to all that believe it. The mental picture that any one of us could attempt to describe of the overwhelming scourging that Jesus received for our transgressions and for the healing of our infirmities cannot possibly be expressed adequately enough in words. Jesus' body was ripped beyond recognition which according to God was given as a full payment for our healing.
BIBL2004-5 HINDRANCES TO HEALING
In this lesson we will look at some things that often hinder us from receiving our total healing in Christ. The main objective to this lesson is to establish a solid belief on what God has provided for us in the area of health through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Faith is never delivered through sympathy. Faith never comes through discussing with people their pains and aches, weaknesses and sicknesses. Faith is born when we hear the Word of truth. Jesus said, "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). Jesus is that truth!
BIBL2004-6 SOUNDNESS OF THE MIND
This final lesson in the studies of healing, we will endeavor to encapsulate the importance of developing a sound mind in order to enforce our healing. A person may say something like: I could not do it, and the moment they said that they were defeated. When a person says they do not have the faith for something, they have at that very moment released a giant to which will bind them from the thing they desire. Perhaps you have never considered just how much you are ruled by your words. We often talk failure, and those failures have held us in their bondage.
BIBL2005-1 THE ORIGIN OF DEMONS
This lesson will be used to better understand the origin of where the devil and demons evolved form according to Scripture. Where did the Devil come from?" This question represents one of the most commonly raised inquiries regarding the Devil. Legends and myths abound, each addressing the question in its own unique way. Some of these fables merely seek supplementary validation from the Bible, while others purport to represent sound Bible teaching. In this lesson, we will discover what can be known about the Devil's origin through knowledge of the Scripture.
BIBL2005-2 DELIVERANCE AND WHAT IT DOES
In this lesson we want to study what deliverance accomplishes and what it does for the person who receives it. There are two concepts which will determine the victory and fruitfulness of a Christian. The first of course is, maturity and the second concept is, freedom. We need to consider where the voices of confusion come from and where the divergent thoughts along with condemning emotions originate.
BIBL2005-3 OUR UNSTOPPABLE WEAPON OF OFFENSE
This lesson will focus on the weapon of offense that we have received that in no way can our adversary ever stop or oppose it successfully. If language means anything at all, than God's promises to the believer is that we have total victory over our adversary, the devil. But how does the Christian experience this promised victory? He does it by keeping the same fundamental facts in mind that any would-be victor would, whether in the secular or spiritual battlefield. These four fundamental facts we will once again observe:
- We must know our own weaknesses.
- We must know our own strength.
- We must know the weakness of our enemy.
- We must know the strength of our enemy.
To either overestimate or underestimate in any of these four areas could prove to be a fatal error on our part. Therefore, we will look at this most vital teaching on our unstoppable weapon of offense.
BIBL2005-4 THE WORD THAT SHEILDS US
Today Satan continues to assault us in two areas: the mind and the emotions. We have learned in lesson three that the Word of God is an offensive weapon; and in this lesson we will discover that the Word of God also shields us in these two vulnerable areas to which we have already mentioned regarding the mind and the emotions.
BIBL2005-5 THE TRANSFERENCE OF SPIRITS
In this lesson we will explore the subject of transference of spirits. We will go to the Word of God in order to lay a biblical foundation to understand and establish the truths and expose the myths that many have developed within the body of Christ concerning the transference of spirits.
BIBL2005-6 EXPOSING DOCTRINES OF DEMONS
This lesson will explore the many false doctrines that have been promoted within the church pulpits around the world. The reason for this study is to cover the misinterpretations of Scriptures that so often leave people in their bondage with little remedy due to what they are continuing to profess in error. True victory comes only when we agree with the reliable Word of God without changing its meaning. Our adversary is crafty and subtle in his indoctrinations to which keeps God's people living beneath their benefits in the Lord. The objective here is to point out many of these damaging doctrines so that the believer may be set-free.
BIBL2006-1 PREVAILING PRAYER
The subject of this lesson is one of the most vital to human existence, both in this life and in the life to come. Without a true and unwavering knowledge of this subject one misses so much in this life that is due him. If one will truly master the following truths and simply refuse ever to fail in practicing them, he will never experience the many unanswered prayers that the average person does. One can get what he is petitioning from God if he will literally do what God says for him to do. The absolute assurance of receiving from God in abundance is just as certain as anything can possibly be if one will follow the instructions given in this lesson. God cannot fail. His promises cannot fail. The believer cannot fail if he will be as resolute about refusing to accept any failure as most men seem determined to fail in the business of asking and receiving.
BIBL2006-2 PRAYING IN THE MIRACULOUS
This lesson will look at the miraculous in relation to the prayers of those who petition such expressions from God's Word through believing and not doubting; so as to release the answers to those prayers by agreeing with the dynamics of the Holy Spirit's power upon those truths from the Holy Scriptures. Let us first begin by looking at the connotation of miracles in connection to the prayers that release them. There is no order of difficulty when it comes to miracles as far as God is concerned. One is not any "harder" or "bigger" than another. They are all the same to Him. Miracles should occur naturally as they are the expressions of God's divine love for His children.
BIBL2006-3 THERE IS POWER IN PRAYER
There are many who offer prayers that are articulated with much lofty words but lack the real power to accomplish anything outwardly. In this lesson we will look at how God's power is released when a believer prays the will of God. The Bible teaches that we are to break up the fallow ground of our hearts (Hosea 10:12). Why? It is because it is time to seek the Lord until He comes and rain righteousness upon you. The reference of fallow ground implies or suggests that there is a state of complacency that needs to be plowed in order to break it open to receive the "Seed." This breaking open to which we are referring to is our responsibility to yield ourselves to the work of the Holy Spirit.
BIBL2006-4 UNFAILING PRAYERS
This lesson will look at the dynamics of prevailing prayer that cannot fail in a believer's life. These are the operations of mind and heart which give force to our praying. These of course are the conditions of prayer to which God has pledged Himself to respond. The state of one's heart in approaching God will largely determine the working of one's heart in the exercise of prayer. The New Testament contains six principles, and any one of these, if obeyed, will ensure that the prayer prevails. The first of these of course is that we would pray.
